The Ford F-150 Lightning Pickup Truck

If you’re a fan of the Ford F-150 but are ready to jump on the electric powertrain bandwagon, then make sure to check out the Lightning. This truck gets power from two electric motors. When equipped with the standard range battery it can get 452 horsepower, but if you opt for the extended range battery, horsepower jumps to 580. Not only can the Lightning reach 60 mph in just four seconds, when you get to cruising speed, it has all the road manners as the gas-powered F-150.

The Ford Mustang Mach-e

One of the best things about the Escape is the powertrain options. In addition to the gas engine, it’s available with a hybrid and a plug-in hybrid. Both hybrid models use a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and two electric motors to motivate the Escape. Both of these use a continuously variable automatic transmission. The plug-in hybrid comes with front-wheel drive, but you can opt for all-wheel drive if you choose the regular hybrid version.
