As one of the largest auto shows in the entire world, the 2018 Detroit Auto Show is a hotly anticipated event, as this show is every single year. This is where we see a ton of impressive models offered for us to admire and consider for our future driving desires when it’s time to head out on the road. At this show we see impressive new concepts and often at least one amazing surprise that takes the entire show by storm to let us admire what the automaker is ready to offer for the future drive we’ll experience.

Lexus is a Japanese luxury brand as part of the Toyota family and this brand was relatively quiet at the most recent Los Angeles Auto Show. Sometimes brands are fairly silent at some shows and then come out with a massive thunder when the next show arrives. This may be the plan that Lexus has when it comes to the Detroit Auto Show that’s coming up at the beginning of the next calendar year. With this in mind, we may have something special to look forward to when this show begins in the upcoming weeks and we see what Lexus has planned.

The Tease is On

We’ve seen a teaser photo that shows us a new look for a Lexus SUV that could be the beginning of a brand new design language and will possibly is a concept that shows up in Detroit. After bringing only the RX L model to the Los Angeles Auto Show, it feels as if Lexus owes us a beautiful new concept to let us have the look and feel we desire on the roads that we will drive. This new concept is being called the LF-1 Limitless Concept, which leaves a lot to the imagination.

While the team isn’t telling us anything specific about the new concept, we do know it was created at the CALTY design studio in Southern California. This concept is expected to carry the new genre of the luxury crossover SUV models for Lexus to give us an idea of what to expect in the future. This may be the first hint of a model from Lexus for the Detroit Auto Show, but it certainly is enough to make us ready to think about and look forward to what this show will be as we wait and see what will show up at this worldwide event that starts off every New Year.
