There have been rumors floating around about the future of the GMC Yukon Denali, but details are finally starting to slip about what to expect for the 2024 edition of this top-of-the-line trim. From what’s been seen and heard, there is a great deal about which to be excited.

The Ultimate Denali

Just when you thought that the GMC Yukon couldn’t get any better, there is a brand new trim coming out: the GMC Yukon Denali Ultimate. GMC is pushing to have this fresh model ready for the 2022 interim, but it’s likely to get pushed back to 2023.

The Yukon isn’t the first vehicle to get the Ultimate treatment. The GMC Sierra 1500 introduced this illustrious model for 2022, which should give us some insight as to what to expect. The Yukon will offer some things that don’t currently come on the Sierra Denali Ultimate. For example, the GMC Yukon Denali Ultimate will switch out the chrome exterior elements with a new color known as Vader Chrome (dark grey).

You should also expect to see Vader Chrome on the front grille, logo, around the fog light, front & rear fender badging, lower door trim, and the liftgate applique. You’ll still see chrome around the window surrounds.

Nothing But The Best

Shoppers who go with the Denali trim area are already accustomed to enjoying the finer elements that GMC offers. The Denali Ultimate will step it up a notch. You’ll find full-train leather upholstery and real open-pore wood trim.

The interior doesn’t just stop with top-shelf materials and adornments. You’ll also be treated to several advanced tech features like a power-retractable assist step, perimeter lighting, a panoramic sunroof, and more. Pretty much all of the upgrade packages for lower-level trims will come standard on the Denali Ultimate trim.

More Than an Upgrade

At the moment, GMC Sierra 1500 drivers can upgrade their Denali model to the Denali Ultimate for an extra fee. This current upgrade costs $9,830. This add-on comes with the Advanced Technology Package, Rear Seat Media upgrade, Max Trailer Package, and a few other extras.

It looks like the Denali Ultimate package may turn into a full-blown model, although this rumor can’t be confirmed just yet. The Denali Ultimate package for the Sierra 1500 is no longer available for the 2022 trucks. It looks like there’s a new top trim coming to town, and it’s called the Denali Ultimate.
