This SUV will wear the new and attractive design on the front while offering us the curves and lines that we can simply admire when standing next to this SUV. You might forget that you’re supposed to get inside and take it for a drive when you see the smooth lines and curves all over the body.

Looking More Like the Sedan than the SUV

You might think the design team at Genesis simply took the look of the new GV80 and shrunk it in the dryer for a few minutes to find the style they wanted for the GV70, but that’s not the case. While the GV80 front end resembles the G80, the GV70 face more closely resembles the G70. This gives you the front of this smaller SUV a look that has aggressive intakes on the lower bumper area and the front that we recognize.

The Genesis GV70 has a Look All its Own

Once you get beyond the front end, you’ll find an SUV that does look singular in the Genesis lineup. This SUV has a body-color C-pillar and side glass that has a special shape behind this pillar area. The sides are high on this SUV which leads to a smooth rear area that has the look that has become a bit of a signature statement from this brand.

The Sport trim of the Genesis GV70 offers you a unique and aggressive style you’re sure to love. You’ll have a front bumper that’s ready to race, a wonderful set of 21-inch wheels, a rear bumper that has large exhaust ports cut out, and a stance that appears to be in constant motion. You’ll have to slow your racing heart when you see this sporty and exciting version of the small Genesis SUV.

When you step inside the Genesis GV70, you’re going to find an area with lots of smooth rounded shapes, a minimal style with only a few buttons, a large infotainment screen, and the readings you need. One Question Remains for the Genesis GV70

Right now, the only major item that we don’t know about is the power that will be offered. We expect to see a pair of engines offered, with a more powerful version being reserved for the Sport trim, but we won’t know this until we are closer to this SUV arriving at dealerships.

The new Genesis GV70 will arrive in the US in the middle of the year to begin to be sold. Before then, we should know more about the engines offered and the final details of the trim packages of an SUV that has a wonderful new style for our visual pleasure.
