The Power for Your Kona

The base powertrain is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 147 horsepower and 132 lb.-ft. of torque. this engine uses a six-speed automatic transmission to give you 27 city/33 hwy mpg in FWD models and 26 city/30 hwy mpg in AWD versions. The Limited and Ultimate models use a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine attached to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission to give you 175 horsepower, 195 lb.-ft. of torque, and 28 city/32 hwy mpg in FWD versions while the AWD models make 26 city/29 hwy mpg. the Kona Electric uses an electric motor and 64-kWh battery pack to give you 201 horsepower, 291 lb.-ft. of torque, and up to 258 miles of driving on a full charge.
