If you thought the end was in sight for the sedans from GM, you need to look deeper into the statements made when GM announced that most of the sedans wouldn’t be created any longer. Instead of deleting all the Cadillac sedans from the market, the GM team has transitioned from the CTS, which was getting older, to a new sedan that signifies the future of the brand and the sedans we’ll see. The new 2020 Cadillac CT5 will be part of the market in the near future to give us a conservative and enjoyable luxury sedan.

The Right Size from Cadillac

The Cadillac CT6 is the flagship sedan from the brand, but the new CT5 will be the model that will slot just below it to give you an excellent feeling in a midsize luxury sedan that can be perfect for you to have the drive you want on the road. The engines that power this impressive new car are familiar to use with the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder being the base engine and a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 being the upgraded power plant. This means you can have either 268 horsepower or 420 horsepower for the drive you want to make on the road.

Both engines make use of the incredible ten-speed automatic transmission for the drive.

A Trim Level Difference for You

The new CT5 follows the same path as the other new models from the Cadillac brand by adopting a trim level scheme that brings you only two choices. This means you have to choose either Sport or Luxury for the ride you’re looking for in the Cadillac CT5. The Sport model offers you a more aggressive look up front, dark taillights, and a variety of items that make the Sport model one that’s a bit more aggressive. The Luxury model of the new CT5 brings you a more comfortable appearance and brings you the classic red taillights, along with items that make this a car you could drive for several hours and know that you’ve got a comfortable ride on the road. We don’t know a lot about what either of these two new models will offer when it comes to the complete package of features that will make it easy for you to have the comfort you want or the aggressive feeling you desire when you head out on the roads in your area.
