The SEMA show will be a place that many modified and upgraded vehicles make their appearance to show off what different tuning outfits can do. One of the vehicles that we’re getting excited to see in the near future is the next version of the Ford Bronco, but while we wait for that model, an original will make an appearance. There will be a 1966 Ford Bronco restomod that will capitalize on the hype surrounding the return of this SUV to the market, and it will be powered and build with some special items for our admiration.

The Build of this Bronco

Many of the vehicles offered at SEMA have a specific purpose or sponsor, and this Bronco isn’t any different. The model was sponsored by United Pacific Industries and put together by the Bronco specialists at Maxlider Brothers Customers in Bloomington, IL. The shape and style of this vehicle is of the first-generation of the Bronco, but there are many modern elements offered to make it an SUV that we could enjoy driving on the roads of today if the team were to decide they wanted to offer it for sale after the show.

The Items You’ll Admire in this Ford SUV

The 1966 Ford Bronco restomod is powered by an engine that you know and gets you excited. This engine is the 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engine that makes its home in the 2019 Ford Mustang GT. This engine is paired with a Heavy Duty 4R70W four-speed automatic transmission. This vehicle has many modern conveniences such as air conditioning, a Bluetooth stereo system, and power running boards. Even though it has several modern items, the team was able to keep the vintage look that makes it a special vehicle to admire and enjoy.

Other items that can be found under this 1966 Ford Bronco include some high-end off-road equipment such as Currie axle housings, Yukon Gear and Axle differentials and axles, an improved driveshaft that came from Randy’s Driveshafts, and set of BF Goodrich KM2 tires. With this equipment underneath the Bronco it’s pretty easy to see that this SUV was built to be tough, rugged, and be taken wherever you might want to go, but you might worry about messing up the paint job, which is an incredible Ford Blue offset with white trim paint to be a great look.

Taking in the Excitement

Starting on October 30th, this United Pacific Coyote Bronco can be seen in the central hall at the SEMA booth to give you a look at what the Bronco was when it first arrived on the market. The newest generation of the Ford Bronco isn’t expected to arrive until 2021, but it will also be a rugged performer that’s ready to take on the Wrangler from Jeep and be an off-road brute. With the return of the Bronco, it’s going to be time to see more competition for the off-road market that we can admire and enjoy when we want to have a weekend full of adventures.
