The spy shots alone of the new 2020 Ram HD Power Wagon show this big pickup truck offering enough machismo to make any man jealous.

The current model has the power we love to enjoy and the new one is going to bring in more of the capability we want when it’s time to head out on the trails to get things done. This new truck offers a bit of a tradeoff, but it’s capable and ready to get on the road, unfortunately, we have to wait a bit longer.

Making the Changes You Need in the Power Wagon

If you’ve been a big fan of the towing and hauling capabilities of the current Power Wagon, you’re going to be a bit disappointed when the new one arrives. On the other hand, if you’re looking for a big truck that can get out on the trails and handle the job of getting things done and going wherever you need to, this new version of the truck will be exactly what you’re looking for. This new version is going to be loaded up with off-road credentials and ride on 33-inch all-terrain tires and give the benefits of the winch that’s integrated into the front bumper.

So far, all we’ve seen of this truck are some spy shots that allow us to see some of the details while not getting the full picture of what the new Power Wagon will be. The steel radio antenna is gone, there’s a sliding rear window, a backup camera, and cutouts for the RamBox that are going to be built into the sides of the bed of this truck. This is an amazing model that will certainly give you the qualities you need when it’s time to drive.

What We Can See from the Spy Shots

As we can see from the photos that have been shared, the new Ram Power Wagon will be a four-door Crew Cab model to continue to give us plenty of the powerful qualities we need for the drive. The hope is that we’re going to see the new moonshot interior in the package. The wheels that you see show off with eight lugs to be built tough and ready to make sure you can get where you need to and have a lot of fun out on the trails in the wilderness where you’re going to have a lot of fun.

Right now, we can assume the new Power Wagon will have the 6.4-liter V8 that pumps out 410 horsepower and 429 lb.-ft. of torque under the hood, but that might change as well. As we see the new line of Ram trucks enter the next generation we’re going to be completely amazed by what this new Power Wagon will be when it arrives. It’s just too bad we have to wait until the end of next year to purchase it. The expectation is that we should see the 2020 Ram Power Wagon at the State Fair in Texas in September or at the Detroit Auto Show in January.
