If you’re looking for the Limited trim of this car, it will cost you about $250 more than the previous version, but the increase in features is worth much more than this price. The Sonata Plug-In Limited model adds automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, LED headlights, lane keep assist, driver attention alerts, a heated steering wheel, wireless charging, and a USB port in the rear seat. This is a lot of added equipment for you to enjoy when it’s time to take this car out on the road for a drive.

The Power You Need for Your Fuel-Sipping Ride

Both versions of the Hyundai Sonata Plug-In Hybrid sedan are powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and a 50 kW electric motor. This setup allows you to have 202 horsepower for the drive. A six-speed automatic transmission is included to handle the shifting to make sure you can have a smooth and engaged ride on the road. The electric motor is powered by a 9.8 kWh lithium-ion battery to make it possible for this car to drive for 28 miles on pure electric power.
