The increased price from the Dodge Challenger Hellcat to the Demon model is on that can nearly fit another car in the mix. For those of us who don’t want to pay the much higher price to have the track-ready Demon that’s not a road-worthy car on a daily basis, but still have some of the features from this car to enjoy more power than what the Hellcat offers, can now have a few items offered to give us a great ride in the car that we love to drive.
The Dodge Challenger is going to be part of the 2019 model year with some upgrades from the 2018 version that don’t necessarily bring us an entirely new model like it did when the Demon was revealed. Instead, we’re going to have a sports car that can give us more of the performance items we want from the Demon on some of the other models of the car to increase the performance offered when we drive. For those of us who love the power this car can bring, this will give even more of a variety for the drive at the track.

The Hellcat Brings More

For a few years, we were satisfied with 707 horsepower coming out of the Hellcat version of the Challenger, but now we could make use of the Challenger Hellcat Drag Pack model which will bring in nearly 75 percent of the components from the Demon model to give this car a bump to 725 horsepower. This means you could have more power in the Hellcat you want to drive and have a lot more fun when you head out to the track to show off with the qualities offered in this gorgeous version of the Challenger.

This new Hellcat Drag pack will make use of the Air Grabber hood, sticky Nitto tires, and the liquid to air charge air cooler chiller system, the Toque Reserve function, and the TransBrake. There will be a Drag mode in the Uconnect system and a taller final drive ratio in this car than in the standard versions of the Hellcat. This is quite an impressive model that can offer you the quality ride that makes a huge difference when it’s time to head out on the road or go to the track for the drive that you want to experience on a regular basis.

This new version of the Challenger Hellcat should make its debut later this year to be part of the 2019 model year. This car is going to be offered on the market for a few more years in order to make sure we can have an amazing drive when it’s time to head out on the road. The Demon equipment has already been part of other models of the Challenger with the Hellcat Widebody and now it makes another appearance in the new Hellcat Drag Pack so that you can have the drive you’ll want to enjoy so that you can have a lot of fun out on the tracks in your area.
